Bridged is what you are looking for I am guessing. It is the best setup for most casual users. ![]() Default is shared mode and while the windows VM gets an IP address, it is completely a subnet within parallels and not see on your network. There is an option to run a VM in bridge mode or shared mode. I use parallels some, but have left them for VMware fusion (same idea) - but these answers are valid either wayĭoes the windows host pick up a different IP? ![]()
